European Blackjack has the same basic structure as standard Blackjack games. But, there are still differences you can notice when you play at www..sa.

The basics

European Blackjack is unlike other games where a player goes against other players. It is an SAgame between the dealer and the player. Each game uses between two and eight card decks where the joker is not included. The goal is to get a hand of 21 or as close you can get to that number. Cards from 2 to 9 get their face value. Cards from 10 to Ace have a value of 10 points each. The Ace can have a value of 1 and 11 depending on the player.

The deal

One of the differences between the European Blackjack and the standard game is the deal. The dealer or RNG deals out the cards once players place bets. Each player receives two face down cards. The dealer only gets one face up card at first. Only after the players play hand will the dealer get a second card.

The gameplay

The player will make a move and try to win the hand once he or she gets the two cards. A hand with a 10-value card and an Ace is a Blackjack. A player wins at once if that player has a Blackjack hand. The game goes into “push” mode if the dealer has this hand. A player or dealer with a hand going over 21 loses the game. It is what you call a “bust.” If a hand has a value lower than 21, the player has several options.

Hit. The player will receive another card to try and improve the hand value.

Stand. The player does not need an extra card.

Double down. The player doubles the original bet and gets another card. Once receiving the card, the player will “stand.”

Split. If the player has two cards of the same value, that player can split his hand into two hands. Each hand gets an individual bet. The player plays both the separate hands.

Surrender. The player quits and keeps half of the original bet.

The dealer will then receive the second card and play his or her hand. If the dealer busts, the player wins even money. There will be comparison of hands if the dealer chooses to “stand.” The higher hand wins. The game will be in “push” mode if both hands have the same value. The player will get his money back in this case.
